From June 19 to 21, 2026, the Frontier Symposium on Imaging and Network Activity in the Brain, hosted by the Bio-X International Institute of Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology (SUAT), was successfully held at Room 127, International Exchange Center, SUAT. More than ten leading scholars from prestigious research institutions including the University of Göttingen, Aarhus University, Stanford University, the University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology gathered in Shenzhen to engage in in-depth academic exchanges and intellectual discussions on cutting-edge topics such as super-resolution brain imaging, neural network activity analysis, and neuroglial functional regulation.

This symposium is one of the key initiatives of the Bio-X International Institute to promote cross‑institutional and interdisciplinary academic exchange in neuroscience. Centered on the two core research directions of brain imaging technology innovation and neural network activity analysis, the conference aimed to advance fundamental research and applied exploration in brain science, while providing a high‑quality platform for equal dialogue and mutual learning among domestic and international researchers.

The successful convening of this symposium not only provided a high‑quality academic exchange platform for brain science researchers from home and abroad, but also further consolidated SUAT's foundation for international collaboration in brain imaging and neural network research. The Bio-X International Institute stated that it will continue to launch a series of academic activities including international symposia, visiting scholar programs, and young scientist forums, inviting more world‑class scholars to SUAT to jointly advance collaborative research and talent cultivation in neuroscience, brain disorders, and intelligent health.
